July 2008
Saturn Electronics Corporation to attend SMTA International
Two-day Exhibition to Feature Much-Anticipated Tutorials and Technical Sessions
Romulus, MI--Saturn
Electronics Corporation recently announced it will be attending the 2008 SMTAI Conference
and Show to be held at the
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort and Convention Center
Orlando, FL, from August 17-21, 2008.
With over 20 years dedicated to developing solutions, the SMTA is an
international network of professionals who build skills, share practical
experience and develop solutions in electronic assembly technologies
that include Microsystems, emerging technologies, and related business
operations.
The SMTAI will proceed with the notably distinguished conferences Saturn
has come to expect from conductively presenting at the organization’s
past events. Emanating
from its accomplished past, the 2008 SMTAI will once again be focusing
exclusively on the electronics assembly industry.
This year’s
expanded floor space
equipment from today’s leading suppliers, but materials and services as well.
The four-day
Technical Conference will feature 24 courses, 100 technical papers, and
four focused symposiums.
In booth # 205, Saturn Electronics Corporation will feature
supplementary information pertaining to their recent
Lead Free Cost Reduction
webinar that addressed the indirect cost drivers associated with the
move to Lead Free. Promising that the right recipe could reduce cost by as much as 30%, the
presentation instructed attendees on how to use the right combination of
materials, finishes, and solders resulting in a pronounced ramification
on bare board cost and reliability.
By implementing
one or both solutions, attendees learned how to save up to 30% of bare
board cost; increase product performance; standardize fab notes to
remove risk of non-performing products, and improve the flux of their
supply base.
The SMTAI’s astute
commitment to innovation appeals to the sagacious nature of the
Romulus-based PCB fabricator and their mutual obligation to share the
latest information with the entire Supply Chain. With over 24 courses, 100 technical papers, four focused
symposiums, and panel discussions heavily geared towards Lead Free
knowledge, the world-class conference will refurbish industry criteria
and educate attendees on pertinent information that can be implemented
immediately.
Additionally, the Technical Conference offers attendees the opportunity
to network with Industry experts on hand for the summit to succinctly
address relevant issues and isolated concerns.
The two-day
exhibition will feature more than 130 Companies.
Special features include highly-anticipated presentation of the
Global Technology Awards 2008
In addition, attendees will be provided with Real Time Chat Rooms and a
Nintendo Wii Lounge on the show floor.
Last year’s SMTA attracted over 1800 attendees and 145 exhibiting
companies from 22 countries across the world culminating in 933
companies in comprised attendance.
