Saturn Electronics Corp. Installs New TargetSystem to Internal Lab
With a System Accuracy of +/- 5 um, TargetSystem improves High Accuracy Preparation
Romulus, Mi—Saturn Electronics Corporation, bare printed circuit board manufacturer, recently installed the Struers TargetSystem Dual Laser into their industry leading PCB Manufacturing Lab. The Dual Laser is utilized for the target preparation of microelectronic components. It is the first FA tool permitting real-time alignment and measurement of both visible and hidden targets, such as microvias and BGAs. System precision is an exceptional +/- 5 µm.
“Acquiring this system brings our in-house lab to a whole new level,” according to Yash Sutariya, VP Saturn Electronics Corporation. “With today's microvia technology, precise cross sections become much more critical as a failure analysis and acceptability tool. Also, procuring and installing a tool of this caliber in today's economic environment shows how much we are committed to quality and advancing up the technology curve.”
