Origins and Background
From 1988 through 2000, Saturn Electronics Corporation increased sales at an average annual rate of 25% year-over-year.

China Syndrome
In 2001, the North American PCB fabrication industry experienced a massive fallout:

  • 75% of sales volume moved to China;
  • 50% of fabrication capacity shut down altogether.


Automotive production accounted for 90% of sales. During a two-week period at the end of 2001, we lost 50% of our total sales due to the one-two punch of losing our Chrysler power distribution program and then our GM automatic dimming mirror program. Despite this shock, we survived 2002 and also increased sales to other customers and industries.

Diversified Supplier of Advanced Technologies
Since then we have continued our technology capabilities to further grow our sales and account base. As a result, we now service a wide variety of customers with needs varying from five piece quick-turn prototypes to high-volume production. Furthermore, our diverse customers’ require not only technological needs ranging from medium to fine line technology but also delivery requirements ranging from one day to three weeks.

Top Domestic Fabricator

In 2008, SEC broke the list of Top 25 domestic PCB Prototype / Production Fabrication Manufacturers. In 2013 SEC continued its growth rate with record numbers and breaking into the top 10 Domestic PCB Manufacturer.
